PET Medical Imaging Center is an outpatient facility located at 3264 North Evergreen Drive in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The facility, nestled in the trees near Evergreen Lake, is designed for the convenience and comfort of patients. In addition to timely appointments and free parking, our dedicated staff members are highly rated by our patients as some of the 'most caring people they have met in the healthcare system'. What you'll find at the Center is advanced medical technology, highly skilled radiologists and technologists, and compassionate staff to assist you with every step of your procedure.
PET-CT is one of the most important developments in medical imaging. By combining the power of two diagnostic imaging modalities, Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computed Tomography (CT), physicians are better able to find disease at the earliest stages of development. The PET-CT scan can also replace the need for multiple diagnostic exams and help reduce or avoid the cost of ineffective treatment or unnecessary hospitalization. Speed and accuracy are other benefits of the scan as most can be completed in less than 30 minutes, creating a more comfortable experience for the patient. Because patient is more comfortable, there is less movement which results in better images.
PET Medical Imaging Center opened in 2004 and is a joint venture of Spectrum Health and Saint Mary's Health Care, in collaboration with Advanced Radiology Services, PC and Kent Radiology, PC.
